Meagan England is the Elementary and Accountability Instructional Supervisor and Assistant Director of Schools for Claiborne County Schools. She graduated from East Tennessee State University with a BS in elementary education. She earned an MS in educational administration and supervision, an EdS in curriculum and instruction, and a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University. She is currently pursuing a degree in Communication and Information with a concentration in Strategic and Digital Communication at the University of Tennessee.
Dr. England is dedicated to education and community service. She serves on the Cater & Moyers School of Education Advisory Council. She serves as the board chair of the Clinch-Powell Supervisor Council and the Head Start Policy Council, demonstrating her commitment to shaping the future of education. Her membership in the Women of Service, where she volunteers her time to help women access college and provide much-needed support services during their college years, showcases her passion for empowering others. She also volunteers with the American Cancer Society and Remote Area Medical. Her role as an alum teacher fellow for SCORE, Hope Street Group, and America Achieves underscores her dedication to improving educational practices.
