Growing up in a house with nine people and one bathroom, I learned early in life how to handle crises and hostile environments. As a recovered Philadelphia sportswriter, I am also used to being booed. I have worked for more than 30 years in developing and executing strategic public relations programs for three Arizona school districts, and now as a Senior Strategist at CESO Communications. I have been a member and leader in the National School Public Relations Association, serving as President in 2014-2015 and Southwest Region VP from 2007-2010. I am also active in the Arizona School Public Relations Association where I served as president twice. I have won multiple ASPRA and NSPRA awards, including NSPRA’s 2012 Barry Gaskins Mentor Legacy Award.
In addition to my body of work for three school districts, I am frequent speaker and presenter at seminars. A glutton for punishment, I remain loyal to my hometown Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Flyers and Phillies. I live in Arizona with my wife and a cat who I've turned into a Facebook and Instagram star.
