Michele Kelley has been the director of communications for Broadalbin-Perth since 2019. She has more than 15 years of public school communications experience and eight years of communications experience at the college level.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University and her Master of Science with a concentration in public relations from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication.
Kelley has received many awards and accolades for her work in communications. She was a member of the National School Public Relations Association’s inaugural 35 under 35 in 2013, an award that recognizes emerging leaders, and her work has received more than three dozen awards for publications, digital communications, and campaigns since 2009.
Outside of work, she volunteers her time and serves as the vice president of the Board of Directors at the Fulton County YMCA and co-treasurer of the Broadalbin-Perth PTO. In her spare time, she crochets and enjoys spending time with her children, J.J. and Lorelai, and their cats, Buddy and Mia.
