I joined Northeastern Local School District (NELSD) in August 2021 from Yellow Springs Exempted Village School District (YSEVSD).
In my current role, I am responsible for enhancing the district’s communications with community groups and organizations by developing a school district newsletter, maintaining social media channels, writing news releases and news stories for the website, and more.
Most recently, I served as executive assistant to the superintendent and communications director at Yellow Springs Exempted Village School District (YSEVSD). Prior to YSEVSD, I worked at Best Restaurant Equipment and Design, Wildflower Boutique, echoingU and Antioch College. Additionally, I served my community as a yoga instructor at House of AUM and The Yoga Loft Dayton.
Prior to moving to Ohio, I spent over eight years of my career in New York City growing in the fast-paced and dynamic work environments of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), CNBC, and Autism Speaks, where I held communications and public relations positions.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Tennessee. I reside in Yellow Springs with her husband, local playwright and Bellefontaine native, Kane Stratton.
