Since 2022, Jessalynn Kenton has proudly served as the Community Relations and Family Engagement Specialist in the Smyrna School District in Delaware. A Delaware native and a graduate of Goldey-Beacom College, Jessalynn initially pursued a career in marketing within the craft brewery and restaurant industry. However, her passion for working with children and communities led her to transition into her current role.
Jessalynn finds fulfillment in her role as she crafts content for all eight, soon to be nine, schools in Smyrna. Among her notable achievements is the development of a comprehensive branding kit for the district, which includes unique logos for each school and department. Affectionately known as "Tay-Tay" among her colleagues, Jessalynn's admiration for Taylor Swift has facilitated deeper connections with students and staff alike.
Outside of work, Jessalynn enjoys reading, collecting vinyl records and Monopoly boards, and exploring new brews to sample.
